Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, name, email address, telephone number, IP address, and the content of an inquiry.

To the extent that data is transferred to a third country, this is done, according to Framer's specifications, on the basis of a valid transfer mechanism pursuant to Chapter V of the GDPR. This includes, in particular, an adequacy decision, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, provided its requirements are met, or the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.

The technical log data is processed only as long as necessary for operation, security, and error analysis. Subsequently, it is deleted or anonymized, unless statutory obligations or security interests justify longer storage.

4. Framer Analytics

We use "Framer Analytics", the statistics function integrated into Framer, to understand how our website is used overall.

In particular, the following summarized or estimated information can be evaluated:

  • Number of page views;

  • Number of visitors within a limited evaluation period;

  • visited pages as well as entry and exit pages;

  • approximate origin of the website visit;

  • Referrers and UTM parameters;

  • approximate country;

  • Device type;

  • Browser and operating system;

  • Bounce rate;

  • estimated session duration;

  • Number of specific interactions, such as form submissions.

According to Framer, Framer Analytics does not use cookies and does not generate persistent identifiers. Visitors are not recognized across multiple days or across different websites using a persistent identifier. The measurement of unique visitors takes place within a one-day window.

The evaluations serve exclusively to assess the reach, technical usage, and comprehensibility of our website and to improve our offering. We do not use Framer Analytics to create personal user profiles and not for personalized advertising.

Insofar as personal data is processed during the technical creation of the statistics, this is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the data-minimizing evaluation and improvement of our website.

We do not use Google Analytics and do not combine the Framer statistics with advertising profiles or data from advertising networks.

On our website, we provide a contact form from Framer. You can use the form to send us an inquiry about your project or a potential collaboration.

Purpose and Legal Basis

The data is processed in order to assign, answer, and prepare your inquiry for possible further steps or a consultation meeting.

If your inquiry relates to the conclusion or performance of a contract with you, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

If the inquiry is made on behalf of a company or concerns another general contact, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the proper and efficient processing of business inquiries.

We require the information marked as mandatory in order to process and answer your inquiry. Without this information, processing may not be possible, or only to a limited extent.

Processing by Framer

The form data is initially processed via Framer's technical infrastructure. Framer transmits the inquiry to the email address configured by us and to the Google Sheet we have set up.

Framer has integrated spam and abuse protection for its native forms. Technical security features and interaction signals may be processed to detect automated or abusive submissions. We do not integrate Google reCAPTCHA.

The legal basis for this security processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in protecting our form and our IT systems from spam, automated attacks, and abusive inquiries.

Transmission by Email

After submission, the content of the inquiry is forwarded to our business email inbox. The inquiry is processed by the email service provider used for our inbox.

Only those individuals who need the inquiry for processing have access to it. It is not used for newsletters or unsolicited advertising messages.

Storage in Google Sheets

The inquiries received via the form are additionally stored in a Google Sheet. This serves the purpose of structured processing, internal assignment, and tracking of the inquiry.

For the business use of Google Sheets, we use Google Workspace. The provider and contracting partner for customers based in Germany is generally:

Google processes the data stored in the sheet on our behalf. Insofar as Google acts as a processor, processing is governed by the data processing terms applicable to Google Workspace in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Google uses data centers and subprocessors worldwide. Processing in countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area can therefore not be ruled out. Where necessary, Google bases such transfers on an adequacy decision, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

Storage Period

The data received via the form is stored as long as necessary to process the inquiry and for appropriate business follow-up.

If the inquiry does not lead to a business relationship, we delete the data as soon as the inquiry has been conclusively processed and no further communication is to be expected, provided that there are no statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests in documentation or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims to the contrary.

If a contract is concluded, the data can be transferred to the respective customer and contract file and stored for the duration of the business relationship as well as the applicable statutory retention periods.

A legitimate erasure request will also be implemented in our email inbox and in the Google Sheet, provided there are no statutory or contractual reasons for further storage.

The data will be deleted as soon as the inquiry has been conclusively processed and no further communication is to be expected. Legal retention obligations as well as storage for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims remain unaffected.

We point out that ordinary email communication is not in all cases completely protected against access by third parties. Please do not send highly confidential or sensitive information unencrypted by email.

8. Contact via WhatsApp

Our website contains an external link through which you can voluntarily start a conversation with us via WhatsApp.

Simply accessing our website does not establish a connection to WhatsApp. Only when you click on the WhatsApp link will you be redirected to WhatsApp or the WhatsApp application. In doing so, in particular your IP address, device information, the time of access, and other technical data may be transmitted to WhatsApp.

According to WhatsApp, personal messages and calls are generally end-to-end encrypted. However, independently of this, WhatsApp processes in particular account, device, connection, and usage information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

As part of providing the service, WhatsApp may also transfer data to companies in the Meta corporate group or other recipients and process data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

The use of WhatsApp is voluntary. You can alternatively contact us by email or by phone.

We do not use your WhatsApp contact details for newsletters, advertising distribution lists, or automated marketing messages without a separate legal basis.

The communication content will be deleted as soon as the inquiry has been conclusively processed and no further communication is required. Statutory retention obligations and legitimate interests in documenting business communication remain unaffected.

9. Calendly as an external link

We provide an external link on our website to our appointment booking page at Calendly.

Calendly is not embedded as a widget or iframe on our website. Therefore, merely visiting our website does not establish a connection to Calendly, and no Calendly content is loaded.

Only when you click on the corresponding link do you leave our website and land on a booking page provided by Calendly. From this point onwards, Calendly processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy and may use cookies or similar technologies on the booking page.

Calendly is based in the United States. A transfer of personal data to the USA therefore takes place. According to Calendly, Calendly relies in particular on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for such data transfers. Should this transfer mechanism not be applicable, Calendly's data processing agreement provides for the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

To the extent that Calendly processes booking data on our behalf, Calendly acts as a processor. Calendly may also process certain data under its own responsibility, for example for security, fraud prevention, administration of the service, and compliance with its own legal obligations.

The appointment data we receive is stored as long as necessary for the preparation, execution, and follow-up of the meeting. If a business relationship is established, relevant information may be transferred into customer and contract records. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

10. Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor the discoverability of our website in Google Search and to identify technical indexing issues.

Google Search Console is not an analytical program integrated into our website. We do not use Google Analytics or any Google Analytics tracking code for this purpose.

Verification of our ownership of the website is carried out via a DNS record or a static verification tag in the source code. This verification mechanism does not cause a Google analytics script to be loaded or an analytical cookie to be set when visiting our website.

In principle, Google processes data generated during the use of Google Search under its own responsibility. We only receive the Search Console reports provided for our website.

Insofar as personal data is processed during our use of the Search Console, this is done on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in monitoring the discoverability, indexing, and technical quality of our website in Google Search.

Google can process data worldwide. Insofar as data is processed outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, Google states that it bases the transfer on the applicable legal transfer mechanisms.

11. SSL or TLS encryption

Our website uses SSL or TLS encryption. This protects data transmitted between your browser and our website from unauthorized access during transmission.

You can recognize an encrypted connection in particular by the use of "https" in your browser's address bar.

Nevertheless, complete security of data transmission on the internet cannot be guaranteed.

13. General Storage Period
